I'm using Soundtoys Little Alterboy plug-in to track some of those insanely high soprano notes I can't hit in my piece. Been a huge help for me and usually on sale (think I got it for like $30) - certainly not comparable to having someone who can actually hit the notes sing em, but I definitely recommend it.
