FROM WILDERNESS

A MEDITATION ON THE PACIFIC CREST TRAIL

Recording Project Goal: $20,000 |  Raised: $20,340

At its heart, composer Jeffrey Derus' sweeping new concert-length work is a story about the transformation one experiences in a wilderness. From Wilderness features the artistry of Choral Arts Initiative accompanied by cello and crystal singing bowls, and listeners will experience a wash of sounds that allow for introspective reflection on the text and themselves.

We look forward to sharing this beautiful work with you in person and bringing it to your music library as a studio-recorded album! Thank you to everyone who supported the recording project to make this dream a reality.
