Our world has been shaped significantly by those who fight and sacrifice for freedom and equality for others. In a time of political and social divides, whether the battlefields we fight on are physical or intangible, the cultivation of empathy and awareness is essential.

Featuring premieres by David Brunner, Dominick DiOrio, Jennifer Higdon, and Jake Runestad, a full performance of Ted Hearne’s “Privilege,” and selected arrangements, our 7th season opens up with an invitation to look within and around us, and to imagine a world that expresses and is defined not by privilege and hierarchy, but by equality, empathy, and love.  ​
